Potty Training

This week we are potty training. Wow! It is a lot of work. Claire is doing awesome, though. She is very into Thomas the Tank Engine right now, so she got a pull back Percy toy for completing her first potty chart. We do have an occasional accident, so I invested in a small steam cleaner. She has been kind of excited about the potty training and now she will wear her plastic pants on her bottom and not just on her head!

Our Birthday!

Claire and I had our birthday not too long ago. Claire talked about it for at least a month before and is still talking about it now. We saw Grandma Bennion on Wednesday for her birthday and Claire said, "We'll sing Happy Birthday to Grandma Bennion and me!" Our birthday was a lot of fun. We had a party with cousins on the preceding Saturday. They all had so much fun and we both got some nice presents. On our actual birthday, Ooma and Papa brought Claire a new bed! She gets to sleep in a big girl bed now. I think that might have been her favorite present. She loves it. There is a little step stool that helps her get up into it. My favorite part is that it is a daybed without a trundle, so I still have lots of storage space underneath. (That is very important when living in an apartment.) FYI -- Claire is now 3 feet tall and weighs 27 pounds. She is getting so big!

snow

I need to do some catching up. Here are the pictures of the big snow storm(s). These were taken at Beth's parents' house. It was a lot of fun to play in, but Claire thought it was kind of a hassle to walk in with her short legs. Now, the snow is mostly gone. I can't believe it!
