A couple of weekends ago, we took a drive up Middle Canyon. It was so beautiful. When the weather is nicer, I think we will go back to camp there. At the top of the road, which is the top of the mountain, there is a place to stop overlooking Bingham Copper Mine. The road was winding and pretty steep. Claire started getting a little nervous. (Okay, I was too.) Unfortunately, when we were very close to the top, there was snow on the road and we could not go any farther. Jared took us back down the mountain a little ways to where there was a fork in the road. One road went back to Tooele and the other over into Herriman. We took the Herriman road. It was really nice and paved. While we were on that side of the mountain, we stopped by IKEA to look around. What an odd store! We got some wooden train tracks for Claire that are compatible with her Thomas toys and we also ate lunch there. It was fun! On our way home we took the freeway instead of going back over the mountain. I think we all really enjoyed that outing.
