One Man Band

Here is our very own Northrop One Man Band. Claire is getting really good at entertaining not only herself, but us as well!

More Dressing Up

I can't believe that we are well into June. The weather is more like April. We have been in the 60s and 70s all month (and some 50s). There has been a lot of rain, too. Since we have been inside so much, Claire has been enjoying all of her stuff--namely her dress-ups. Here are some of her cute photos.

Tooele

Yes, we made it. We are now living in Tooele, Utah! We are getting settled in and there is plenty of room for us and our stuff, too. Claire has handled the move very well and is starting to make new friends in her Nursery class. Jared is enjoying not having to commute anymore. Beth is liking the space and a room to herself for her crafts, etc. This is a picture out our back door. We have the best view! It is so beautiful and we can see the Great Salt Lake in the distance. There are two goats that live in the field directly behind us. They are so friendly and come over to the fence whenever Claire is out. She loves to feed them grass and pet them.

A Day Out With Thomas

This past Memorial Day weekend, we were able to go to Heber with Beth's family to enjoy a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine on the Heber Valley Railroad. Claire had been looking forward to this for a long time and was very excited. I thought it would be a good idea to drive past the railroad on our way into town on Friday night, so we could catch a look at Thomas. That got Claire way, way excited. She wanted to get out of the car right then. Our tickets were for Saturday, so we waited until then. Claire got to meet Sir Topham Hatt and also the conductor. There were also other activities such as a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, story telling, and balloon animals.

I think Claire's very favorite part was the actual ride on Thomas the Tank Engine. Just look at the sheer joy on her face! I was a lot of fun. We rode on an open train car and also we were able to walk into an enclosed train car during our ride.

The day was a lot of fun! Anne was here from Missouri and she was able to go to Heber with us to ride the train.

Spring Fever

As we were preparing to move, Claire rediscovered her dress-up box. I think the pictures speak for themselves. They are so cute and she had a lot of fun. The white T-shirt is not a dress-up, though. She really wanted a picture taken with her new train named Lady. It is a very fast engine. She can pull it back and then it goes by itself.

Easter Pictures

Here are the Easter pictures that I was not able to post earlier. See the happiness on Claire's face when she found her chocolate bunny? The next picture is of her eating the chocolate bunny. The other items she got from the Easter Bunny were a beautiful Easter dress for church and a doctor's bag. She has enjoyed both.

error

I am having a hard time uploading our Easter pictures, so I will add them later. We are getting ready to move to Tooele, Utah. Jared is going to be the new manager of the Platt Electric Supply store there. We do not have a place to live as of yet, but hopefully we will find one soon. Things are a little hectic, but I will get those pictures posted soon!
